Introduction

Annihilation is an Infinite Mode achievement in Run 3, found in IM 41.

Suggested Characters: RunnerFront LizardFront DuplicatorFront

Gameplay

This achievement gameplay is very similar to the achievement Wrecking Ball - both require for you to destroy all of the crumbling tiles that you see. However, in the Wrecking ball achievement, there are four crumbling platforms that you will need to dislodge, whereas Annihilation has eight. Wrecking Ball also has no real pattern in the placements of the crumbling tiles (thus there is no pattern of how to make your way through the level) whereas Annihilation requires you to jump around the tunnel once, hitting all crumbling tile platforms.

Jump immediately after you land on a platform. This saves time as you need to get through everything as quick as possible.

Depending on which character you happen to be using when you reach IM 41, you could have a breeze destroying the tunnel. If you happen to be using any of the characters listed above in the suggested characters list, you may have an easy time getting this achievement. However, if you are using, for example, the Child or the Skater, it is impossible to get this achievement, due to their very long jumps as fast speeds (for the Skater).

The Runner slow movement speed and above average jump ability will help you a lot when you are making your way around the tunnel, giving you more time to dislodge all of the tiles and making the jumps easy. The same goes for the Lizard, however its high jumps may eat up that little time you have to make it across the level. The Duplicator can also help you a lot as his duplicates can help you dislodge tiles that you cannot reach if you missed any on the way.

Remember, do not save the platforms to guarantee that you will have something to land on near the end. If you do this, you will run out of time to make it all the way around the tunnel and destroy everything.
