|This level is a major plot point!
This level is a major level in the game. After you finish the level, you may be able to access other characters, minigames, and tunnels. Most of them also include a cutscene.
Introduction[edit | edit source]
This level is significantly easier than the last three levels.
Gameplay[edit | edit source]
After those last few hard levels, did you think that the last one was going to be really hard? Wrong.
This level is significantly easier than the last three levels. At first, it may seem to be difficult since the path is completely dark, but you can still see the path by looking at where the starlight is absent. Just walk on it. There are no turns and the whole thing is just a connected path.
The Ice Skater is the best character because the whole thing is made of only ice tiles. Since this level is so easy, beating it quickly is the next thing needed. If you can't handle the speed, just use the Runner. She's considerably slower. Also, if you have the Pastafarian, her light bridge can tell you where the tiles are. If you don't have her, try out the Gentleman. He works surprisingly well in this tunnel as a whole, and can use the Power Cells to either skip portions of this level, or if you mess up, save himself.
Sometimes, the platform will make you turn right or left (right, left 4x, right). Just follow the path until the end, where a pile of lit power tiles can be seen. Once you reach there, you will activate a cutscene, and congratulations! You finished the whole Low-Power Tunnel!
Plot[edit | edit source]
This is a description of the cutscene featuring in this level. More information on this cutscene can be found here.
Candy[edit | edit source]
After beating the Low-Power Tunnel, a cutscene featuring the Child and the Angel will begin. At the end of the Low-Power Tunnel, the Child finds a bag of candy. He announces this loudly and holds it above his head. The Angel is standing in the background, but he barely reacts when he hears the Child. The Child then disappears from the cutscene and the focus switches to the Angel. What appears to be his thoughts show on the screen as follows: "Another dead end. Well, at least one of us got something out of it this time. But you know what?" The Angel turns around. "I'm done with all this. I'm done waiting for the Runner to get us home. Now it's my turn, whether she likes it or not."
- The Child actually didn't like the candy when he tried it later, and burned it instead.
New Character[edit | edit source]
After finishing the Low-Power Tunnel, you unlock Halloween costumes for the Runner and Child! Even better, you successfully unlock the Child by beating the Low-Power Tunnel, for free!
Here is a brief data about him: The Child's lightweight, combined with his balloon, allow him to run on Crumbling tiles without dislodging them. However, when he jumps, the sudden force is enough to knock them loose. He has an average speed at 10 m/s.
The Child floats down slowly, so if he can get enough height, he can jump and float far away.
