Introduction Edit

Obvious is the 47th cutscene in Run 3, if counting all of the previous optional and hidden cutscenes.

This is a major cutscene as it features the discovery of the boat that would get them home.

Plot Edit

After beating Level X-1, a cutscene will begin, starting with a conversation between the Pastafarian and Angel. The Angel starts by asking the Pastafarian why she thinks the tunnels were made. She replies saying that based on the noodly appearance of the tunnel, she suspects that they are tributes to the Flying Spaghetti Monster. The Angel tells her to keep on guessing, meaning that he thought her answer was wrong. The Pastafarian figures that the tunnels could have also been naturally formed. The Angel asks if she is even trying and she tells him not to be rude.

The Angel asks if the Pastafarian knows about the Wormhole, which she replies, saying that she only knows a little beyond the fact that it exists. The Angel then asks if she knew that they connect to the Tunnels and the Pastafarian replies, saying that the Runner thinks so. The Angel then verifies that she knows that the Tunnels reach the planet, which she replies that she does. The Angel tells her that she knows everything necessary to know and asks her the big question: What are the Tunnels for? He gives her a hint that it's obvious.

The Pastafarian says that the Angel may have overestimated how obvious the answer to the question was, which the Angel disagrees. She continues saying that three facts are not enough to jump to conclusions. The Pastafarian steers the topic of the conversation to a boat which appears to be made out of the same tiles found in the tunnels. She asks the Angel what it is and he replies saying that he already told her the answer.
