Cutscene Transcript
StudentFront Wait, so is this still here?

This cutscene is now replaced by dialogues of Child and Duplicator. This page is now outdated. However, we can still refer this event as "River".

Introduction[]

River is the 7th cutscene in the game Run 3, 6th cutscene if you are not counting the optional cutscene Batteries. This is a minor cutscene.

This cutscene is now removed and it is replaced by dialogues of the two characters. But in this wiki, we still keep this page as information for the dialogue in The River.

Plot[]

Updated Version[]

Upon finishing Level F-1, the Child tells his father that he likes to call this tunnel the river. He then says rivers are a thin blue line, and this tunnel is like a thin blue line in space. The discussion ended with the Duplicator saying that this is a good analogy.

After beating Level F-2, the Child and Duplicator will start discussing about rivers. The Child says he read a book and Duplicator reminds his son that books are usually fictional.

And after beating Level F-3, Duplicator asks the Child what is the color of a river, and Child answers blue. He asks what the color of water is as well. The Child replies that water is clear. Then the Duplicator starts questioning if river is really made out of water.

After beating Level F-4, the Duplicator convinces the Child that the River is still a good name for the tunnel, since this tunnel isn't clear, it isn't water either. The Child figures this out before the Duplicator can fully explain.

Outdated Version[]

After beating Level F-3, a cutscene starring the Duplicator and Child will begin. The Child says that he calls the F-Tunnel "The River". The Duplicator seems confused as to what a river is, so the Child explains that it is a "thin blue line on the surface of the Planet."

He continues to say that rivers are really wavy, like the tunnel, and he saw one in a book. The Duplicator reminds him that books are fiction, and the Child replies with, "Yeah, Yeah."

Trivia[]

  • According to Wikipedia, the definition of a river is a "natural flowing watercourse, usually freshwater, flowing towards an ocean, sea, lake or another river."
  • This cutscene shows the Child's age, as mispronounces "inevitable" as "enevitable."
