This level is a major plot point!
This level is a major level in the game. After you finish the level, you may be able to access other characters, minigames, and tunnels. Most of them also include a cutscene. |
Introduction[]
This is Level 3 of The Way Back in Run 3.
Gameplay[]
In this level, there are multiple paths for you to take. The obvious purple-colored Normal tile platforms, shaped like a spiral, and also the Ice tile paths, shaped in a narrower spiral. The Bunny is good, as you have lots of space for you to hop and to increase speed, while the platform is wide enough for you to not fall off it. After you reach the gaps, you can just breeze through the air through a long jump, boosted by the insane speed accumulated and you can now continue hopping and finish the level.
For the Pastafarian, there isn't much of a strategy. Follow the bridge and both ice tile spirals and keep strengthening the light bridge.
As for the Duplicator, just keep saving your duplicates, and jump on top of them the moment it spawns when you need to jump through the large gaps.
Achievement[]
There is an Achievement present in this level.
Frozen Bridge[]
This level has an achievement called "Frozen Bridge" requiring you to beat the level, while only touching the Ice tiles. Fortunately, the first few tiles won't count against you.
New Tunnels[]
During this level, you can see two other side tunnels stretching out of this one. Not the Way Back Tunnel is 5 levels long and is completely optional, as the name already implies that it leads to nothing. Level X cannot be played yet, though it is unlocked after the completion of The Way Back, part 7. It is only one level long. It helps you to get to The Way Back, part 8. More can be seen in The Way Back, part 7 and Story pages about this.
When you first discover these levels, the current selected character will ask "Was that a new tunnel back there?". This is likely because the Runner is not present in this part of the story, who normally appears in the form of a text box when discovering a new tunnel. If playing the Bunny, the text box will appear, but since it can't speak, no character icon is used.
