Jester's POV:
It was pretty fun flipping through the tunnels. As long as I don't look down.. I'll be ok. I have a fear of heights. I had a fear of them ever since my boss had gotten a little bit impatient and pushed me off the bridge and into a lake,I couldn't swim so I nearly died that day. Been afraid of them ever since.
Galaxian:"Hey Jester?"
"Yeah?"
Galaxian:"Is it just me or is it getting cold in here?"
I feel bumps appearing on my skin as he stated that. It did feel colder then it did before. It felt like..it was coming from the tunnel next to us..
"I think it's coming from the tunnel.."
Yep. It's the tunnel. As Soon as I went over there I was hit by a cold breeze..With it all covered with ice.
Galaxian:"Br..cold."
I went over there to check when..The ice started cracking.
"Oh God.."
It then broke, plunging me into cold, freezing water. It felt like a 1000 knifes were in my body as I covered my mouth trying not to inhale. I used my ability to float up and managed to grab an icy ledge, pulling myself up. I gasped for air as every inch of my body felt numb and cold.
Galaxian:"Jester! Are you ok?!"
"Y-Yeah.."
He helped me up to check for injuries as my hair and face was covered with frost. I was shivering uncontrollably, trying to warm myself up as I staggered to the warmer part of the tunnel.
Galaxian:"Put this blanket on. I don't want you catching hypothermia.."
"O-ok.."
I put it on,happy for the warmth and it felt..a bit comforting. I felt extremely tired and felt myself going numb..I passed out.
Galaxian's POV:
"Jester..?"
I feel myself panicking because he just fainted. I check his pulse,felt steady, checking his forehead,cold to the touch. He wouldn't stop shivering and he was extremely pale. I carried him farther from the tunnel and tucked him inside of a little box and tried to keep him warm. I tried teleporting out of the tunnels, didn't work. My ability doesn't reach that far.
"Dang it."
???:"Need any help?"
I turned around to see a man wearing an odd hat. How did he sneak up on me like that??!
"Who are you?!"
Founder:"I'm the Founder. .You?"
"Galaxian."
Founder:"Is your friend ok?"
"I.. don't know..he just passed out after falling through an ice tile."
He walked over to Jester and checked on him. Then came back.
Founder:"Just from the shock of the water being cold."
"Thank God..I thought he caught hypothermia for a second.."
He then disappeared. Leaving me confused about how he can do that.
