This level is rather difficult. It can challenge veteran players and most beginners cannot finish this level. Most players consider it to be a hard level. Even elite players may have trouble beating this in one attempt. Good luck, and don't try this in your home universe.

Introduction[]

This is Level 20 of the Winter Games in Run 3.

Suggested Characters: JackoLanternFront LizardFront DuplicatorFront

Gameplay[]

Unlike the previous level, there isn't a frustrating amount of ramps in the center of the platforms. The gaps between platforms are large, so jumping off of the ramps is strongly recommended, though not required with the Skater or other long and/or high jumpers. Do high jumps as frequently as possible.

This level is hard not necessarily because it's hard to maneuver, but because it's very long - one of the longest levels in the game - you will need consistency if you want to beat this level.

If you use a fast-paced character, make use of the momentum and do long jumps while avoiding sharp turns at all cost (unless you are using the Bunny). They can slow you down considerably, make you lose the edge.

If you have beaten the W-Tunnel, the Ice Skater is your best bet here, due to the costumes greater traction on ice than any other character.

End of Winter Games

The end of the Winter Games

Strangely, the end of the Winter Games is well-decorated, as seen in the photo. There are three large rings made of normal tiles, which isn't seen in other ends of tunnels.

Plot[]

After finishing this level, you will initiate a cutscene. More information on this cutscene can be found here.

Gold Medal[]

After beating the Winter Games, part 20, a short cutscene will begin. The Child announces to the Skater that he won, and presents him with a "gold" medal. The Skater looks surprised and thanks the Child. However, when the Skater inspects the medal closer, he realizes that it is not made of gold, but bronze or copper. The Child responds, "Yeah, well, it was the closest I could find." The Skater accepts the medal anyways, saying, "It's the thought that counts."

Achievement[]

You will automatically earn the achievement "Slipping and Sliding to Victory" from beating this level.

New Costumes[]

You now have the Winter Costumes for the Runner and the Skater if you haven't completed the W-Tunnel already. The Ice Skater isn't too unique, but the Skier is quite interesting.

Skier: The Runner apparently has a secret passion for skiing. The Skier starts off extremely slow, but, like the Runner, gains speed over time on the ground. Unlike the Runner, the Skier's gains are noticable, reaching the top speed of the Bunny if given the time. Her strafing is otherwise worse, and she doesn't preform any better on ice tiles (although they do help her accelerate).

Ice Skater: The Ice Skater takes the Skaters already impressive strafing (for his speed at least) and improves it while on ice. The Ice Skater is also immune to the sliding effects of ice, instead sliding on normal tiles. Compared to the Skater, the costumes jumping abilities are slightly higher, in exchange for worse strafing on normal tiles, making it a character better for making jumps the Skater can just barely not make normally.
